Review submission guidelines

These guidelines set out how reviews of clinics may be submitted on the ClinicGo.co.uk platform. By submitting a review you confirm that you have read them and agree to comply with them.

1. Who can submit a review

A review may only be submitted by a person with genuine personal experience of the clinic. It is prohibited to write reviews about clinics you have not visited, and for clinic staff or competitors to write about themselves or their competitors.

2. Content requirements

A review must be honest, factual and based on real experience. The following are prohibited:

  • false, misleading or defamatory information;
  • profanity, insults, threats, hate speech;
  • disclosure of other people's (doctors', staff's, patients') personal data or health information;
  • advertising, links, spam, repetitive content;
  • using someone else's name or impersonating another person.

3. Your responsibility

The person submitting a review is fully and solely responsible for its content. ClinicGo.co.uk is only a technical platform and is not the author of the reviews. By submitting a review you accept full legal responsibility for its content, including any harm to third parties, and undertake to compensate ClinicGo.co.uk for any losses incurred if claims are made as a result of your review.

4. Processing of personal data

By submitting a review you agree that the following data will be stored and processed on our server: the name you provide, your email address, the review text and rating, the submission date, as well as your IP address and a browser identification token (stored in encrypted form). This data is used for review confirmation, moderation, abuse prevention and, where necessary, to contact you. Your email address is not displayed publicly. The data is not shared with third parties except as required by law. You have the right to request correction or deletion of your review and the related data.

5. Confirmation and moderation

Reviews from visitors who are not logged in are published only after the email address has been confirmed via the link we send. ClinicGo.co.uk reserves the right, without separate notice, to withhold, edit or remove a review that does not comply with these guidelines, and to restrict a user's ability to submit reviews in the event of abuse.
